KNEAD? NO KNEAD.

March 31, 2016

breadThis blog post will be as short as this bread recipe is simple. It’s an old classic from the beloved (in my house at least) New York Times and came out perfectly the first time around. I love baking fresh bread, mainly because there are few things on Earth I like more than eating fresh baked bread. The lengthy kneading, however, is awful. I love it for the first minute- the smell of the dough, the feel of it giving way under my palms, the knowledge that I am a woman who MAKES FRESH BREAD DAMMIT- it’s all glorious, that is until all those wonderful sensations give way to my aching arms and the annoying way my brow furrows from the exertion.

Enter the NYT No Knead Bread recipe. A few steps, a little patience (it’s a two day process, mainly waiting for the dough to rise), and the need to knead? No need. Find the recipe here and enjoy!♥

Because life is too short to shoo away the bread basket. Live, love, eat with abandon. Pass the butter please.

About Me

rachelle I have no desire to be a food blogger. Although the existence of this, my food blog, would suggest otherwise. I’m not a brilliant cook and am certainly no culinary expert but where I do excel is eating; I eat with abandon.
